The Radio Detective show

“Jerry Pearce-The Radio Detective” is a radio talk show. During the show Jerry hosts some of the most attention-grabbing guests, who discuss everything from espionage to murder and beyond. Jerry also has a unique way of cutting through political correctness to get to the core of what is really going on.

Jerry’s hard hitting, no nonsense approach to life is felt through listening to his radio talk show. His deep-seated desire to help others has been brought to a whole new level through the “Radio Detective” show. Jerry refers to his show as a platform of “Infotainment” a cross between entertainment and information. There is no other talk show like it on the air.

Jerry in the past has broadcast his show from KFRE, KTRB, now on 50,000 watt KMJ 580 AM in Fresno and 50,000 watt KPLS 830 AM in Los Angeles. He has also been seen on his “Radio Detective On T.V.” show on Channel 43 in Central California. Additionally, Jerry is a professional speaker. Jerry’s personal philosophy is clear when you hear him say:

“You will never be able to replace the Ten Commandments with a Penal Code, even if it was a foot thick.” - Jerry Pearce

Jerry also has added a “Cold Case” segment to his program where he broadcasts information about cold case murders in hopes of developing lead information that may be used to shed light on unsolved murder cases. Law enforcement officials regularly appear on Jerry’s show to talk about these cold cases.

Personal life

Jerry is a native Californian, born in the oil town of Bakersfield. He resides with his wife Bonnie on their ranch in the Sierra Nevada foothills above Fresno, in the very heartbeat of California. Jerry is the grandfather of six. Jerry’s spare time when he has any is mainly taken up with his Quarter Horse “Reno” and his Border Collies “Lil.” and “Cash.” Jerry is an FAA licensed pilot, a N.A.U.I. qualified SCUBA diver, a licensed Ham Radio Operator, and an expert Marksman. Jerry is also known for his fine art work in oil, acrylic and watercolor. In addition, Jerry is a guitar picker and loves to sing country and western music.

Jerry is a veteran of the United States Navy where he served for four years aboard the Aircraft Carrier – U.S.S. Hornet CVA/CVS – 12 in the south pacific, otherwise known as WESPAC. His famous ship is now a museum moored at the Alameda Naval Shipyard near Oakland, California.

Jerry also acted as Liaison to the State Of California Attorney General’s office, the County District Attorney’s Office and the County Board Of Supervisors on behalf of the Sheriff for whom he worked. Jerry has carried out many undercover assignments in where he penetrated various organized crime groups to make purchases of narcotics and dangerous drugs. Even as a P.I. Jerry and his staff at The Pearce Corporation have a strong track record of interfacing with various federal and state agencies including the DEA, in order to investigate the operations of international drug cartels. At one time Jerry made the largest seizure ever of narcotics by a local law enforcement officer when he boarded a sail boat off the central Pacific Coast of California and seized over a ton and a half of Marijuana, two pounds of Heroin and sixteen jars of liquid LSD. Jerry holds a lifetime teaching credential in police science and has taught at the Junior College level on two faculties.
